APV Basics ATMP

The APV Basics ATMP course on “Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products” will take place from 28–29 April 2021.

As APV (https://www.apv-mainz.de) Specialist Group Leader for “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology”, Dr Hans-Georg Eckert, Senior GMP Consultants and Site Manager of Valicare Frankfurt, will lead the Basics ATMP course on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, virtually on 28 and 29 April 2021.

This course offers an introduction to the world of ATMPs from the perspective of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.

Experts from Valicare as well as from industry and academia will provide fundamental basic knowledge about ATMPs. Within different lectures, their particular characteristics, the required risk-based approaches for process development, the special GMP requirements for manufacturing, quality control, and logistics will be presented and discussed. The regulatory situation in the EU from the perspective of the Paul Ehrlich Institute will also be outlined.

Take the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with experts during and after the events.

The target group includes persons from small and medium sized enterprises of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, involved in development, manufacturing, quality control, and logistics of ATMPs.
