Bosch Packaging Technology becomes Syntegon Technology

On January 16th 2020, associates of the former Bosch Packaging Technology simultaneously celebrated at 30 locations in over 15 countries worldwide the start of a shared future as an independent company, Syntegon Technology. In a live broadcast from the headquarters at Waiblingen, the management welcomed the approximately 6,100 employees at the individual locations and explained their future mission for the new brand: processing and packaging for a better life.

Syntegon looks back on 150 years of experience and will expand its profile as a leading process and packaging company in the pharmaceutical and food industry under the new owner CVC Capital Partner in the coming years. The new independence allows more flexibility. In addition to the existing global corporations and regional market leader, medium-sized companies and start-ups will increasingly be among the customers in the future. Individual solutions for the individual customer create the framework conditions for developing sustainable and intelligent technologies. Additionally, Syntegon attaches particular importance to the expansion of its service offerings. There will be new customer and technology centres, and the availability of service technicians will be increased in order to reduce response times to customer enquiries.

Syntegon, this name stand for synergy, technology and future orientation. The colour green indicates the importance of sustainability and health for the company, the square in the new logo symbolises the proven product protection through packaging technology.
