The interactive APV workshop will highlight Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) as products in development for market supply. The speakers will share background knowledge gained during strategic planning and pharmaceutical development of designated orphan and non-orphan drugs.
The workshop places a strong emphasis on active dialogue between participants and speakers. Members of the APV focus group “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology” will also be present on-site to support professional exchange.
The event combines in-depth knowledge transfer to support market access of ATMP with targeted discussion of specific questions related to individual product portfolios.
Part of the workshop will be led by Dr. Hans-Georg Eckert, Managing Director and Senior GMP Consultant at Valicare GmbH. As a qualified biologist, he draws on nearly 30 years of professional experience in guiding and implementing GMP compliance. He is supported by Ralf Sanzenbacher, PhD, from the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute, who currently serves as Senior Scientific Assessor in the Department of Hematology, Cell and Gene Therapy.
Who should attend?:
- Stakeholders in the Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) field
- Executives of small- and medium-sized companies
- Experts in pharmaceutical development, production, and quality control of cell and gene therapeutics
